Samika Gangidi

Samika Gangidi is 16 years old and has been learning Bharatanatyam from the age of six. She completed her Arangretram recently under the guidance of Guru. Smt. Kalaimangai Anbalagan. Samika is a hardworking young woman and a honors student. She has been elected treasurer in a school club and she is part of the track and field team. She has also been learning the violin since the age of eight. In her free time, she volunteers at the Grafton town library, the Milford Regional Medical Center, the St.Vincent Hospital and events at her school. She is very passionate about helping others.

Akshitha Balagani

Akshitha Balagani is 16 years old and is a junior at Grafton High School. She learned and practiced classical dance for almost 10 years up to her arangetram, and is very passionate about it. In addition to dance, she is also an avid tennis player and is part of her varsity tennis team. She loves to spend her time volunteering at the library, senior centers, and several school events. This is a testament to her patience and nurturing character.

Sonu Patel

Sonu Patel, 15, is a sophomore at Montville Township High School, who recently completed her Arangetram on August 27, 2017. She has performed in many competitions, and engages in Bollywood and folk dancing, apart from Bharatanatyam. Sonu is involved with volunteering in her community and actively takes part in different clubs at her school. She enjoys listening to music and playing sports, and loves spending time with her family and friends. In the coming years, Sonu would like to pursue her interests in dance and focus on her academic career.”

Meenakshi Kodali

"Meenakshi Kodali is currently a senior at Westborough High School. She accomplished her Bharatanatyam Arangetram in August of 2017 under the tutelage of Smt. Kalaimangai Anbalagan. Meena is a passionate classical dancer and singer who has performed at countless events and fundraisers and will continue to do so for the rest of her life. She hopes her efforts so far and going forward will contribute to positive changes in the world as she heads off toward the next stage of her life: college."
